- SAINT JAMES THE GREAT NATIONAL SCHOOL A day school in connection with the Anglican Church of Saint James the Great were opened by the Venerable Archdeacon Downall on Tuesday June 9th 1863. Built on a site to the north of the Vicarage, they cost £2,300.
Mr J Wonnacott was the master and Mr H Hill his
assistant in 1866. |
