RAILWAYS IN OLD DEVONPORT | MAIN LINE, PLYMOUTH STATION (MILLBAY) TO LISKEARD STATION SAINT BUDEAUX TEMPORARY SIGNAL BOX During the doubling of the main line by the Great Western Railway Company a temporary 13-lever signal box was installed between Keyham Station Signal Box and Royal Albert Bridge Signal Box, almost on the site of what was to be Saint Budeaux Platform and later Saint Budeaux Ferry Road Station. The ten working levers operated points accessing an Engineer's Siding along with Down and Up Distant, Home and Starter signals. Saint Budeaux Temporary Signal Box was opened on Sunday March 23rd 1902 and closed on and as from Wednesday August 5th 1903, when the new double track was brought in to use.
